Introduction and Context

Transportation activities can account for approximately 75% of an organization’s supply chain costs. Thus, it is crucial that an organization gets the transportation function right, whether its ambition is to meet personnel mobility needs or to execute the delivery of goods and materials.
This training will examine the transportation function in a holistic manner. This training course will start by outlining the requirements of successful fleet maintenance programs and workshops. The training course then describe the components of stringent fleet and driver safety programs and experiment with different capital budgeting and distribution routing techniques together with KPIs.
The Institute of Applied Project Management Ltd. was incorporated under the Companies Act (Cap. 486) as a Limited Company on 15th November 2010. Our aim is to empower individuals and organizations with standards, knowledge, tools, methods and techniques that describe good Management practices.

Our Training Methodology
We use Case Study methodology that assist the participants to connect well with the workplace problems that needs to be solved. During the training, the participants get access to practical templates and simulations that assist them to do the assigned group work and also very practical for customisation at the work place. We use power point presentations, relevant video clips, role plays and simulations in addition to the case studies, templates and group discussions.

Workshop Budget
The tuition fee is Kenya Shillings Eighty Nine Thousand Five Hundred (KES 89,500) per participant. The cost is inclusive of VAT and caters for:

3.    Customised templates for use in workplace

Worked as a Senior Business Project Manager from October 2015- March 2017 at World Vision International, Process Life Cycle Manager from October 2013- September 2015, and Project Management Office (PMO) Specialist from October 2009 to September 2013. Primary responsibility were to ensure successful delivery of global solutions to field offices; supporting and ensuring the propagation and strengthening of the project management framework and discipline to deliver projects within the agreed scope, time frame and budget.
